SupreMa is a Power / Progressive Metal band formed in 2004 by guitarist and main songwriter Douglas Jen in São Paulo. In the following year the EP "Spyeyes" was released, placing the band on several "best of" polls, such as on Whiplash, the most popular Rock and Metal website in Brazil, being pointed as one of the greatest revelations of 2005 and 2006 in the country.

After the "revelation stage", SupreMa became one of the biggest names among Brazilian metal bands, gathering a legion of fans and touring the North and Northeast of the country five times between 2008 and 2012.

The band has shared the stage with great artists such as Primal Fear (Germany), Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden), Evergrey(Sweden), Phantom Rockers (USA), Andre Matos, Korzus and Krisiun.

Technique, charisma, performance and kindness with the audience are trademarks of the band's career, a band which has been a feature at major brazilian festivals as Palco do Rock 2010 and 2012 (Salvador-BA), River Rock (Indaial - SC) Lagoa Metal Fest (Sao Luis - MA), Guara Motofest (Garanhuns-PE), Araraquara Rock - SP, Detona Rock - SP, Varzea Open Air (Varzea Paulista - SP), Ceara in Rock 2012, Carnametal (SP) and EMI Rock (Extrema-MG).

The current lineup is Pedro Nascimento (vocals), Douglas Jen (guitar), Fábio Carito (bass) and Fernando Castanha (Drums).

The most recent release is the "Traumatic Scenes" CD which brings the fans of the band their musical maturing on a high level production throughout the 11 album tracks that bring as main concept the movie "The Invisible" (click here to read the CD review), and was very well received by the entire American and European medie receiving praise and high scores, all above 8.5 out of 10, from respected websites such as Metal Underground (AT), Whiplash (BR), Metal Temple (EUR), Power of Metal (DK), Heavy Paradise (GR) and Sea of Tranquility (US).

On May 26th, 2013 the band performed at Via Marquês in São Paulo, Brazil the release show of Traumatic Scenes on a true spectacle with top sound/light equipment, exhibiting the new stage scenario of the 2013/2014 tour highly acclaimed by the fans and media attending the concert. In Europe the album was released under Power Prog on July 26th, 2013 and in the USA on August 5th, 2013.

Frequently highlighted on both Brazilian and International media, the band is led by guitarist Douglas Jen who was considered by popular voting on Whiplash the 12th best Brazilian Rock/Metal guitarist in 2013 and also one of the few Brazilians to endorse legendary brand of amplifiers Peavey.

Supporting the Traumatic Scenes album, SupreMa has release two videos. The first one was for the song "Nightmare" in December 2011 still as a single for the new CD which remained highlighted for four months on MTV/BRZ and reached 2nd position on the charts of Swiss channel Rock Label TV.

Recently the band released the video for "Fury and Rage", a cinema superproduction together with the renowed Nevasca Filmes who worked with countless mainstream artists and companies such as Naldo Benny, JOão Neto and Frederico, Rick Bonadio, Micael Borges, Manu Gavassi, The Vampire Diaries (RTA Global) and also worked in the production of "Pânico na TV" tv show (RedeTV and Band). In a script of drama and terror shot in the cities of Paranapiacaba and Joanópolis (Brazil), the video was featured in over 100 websites and magazines in Brazil and worldwide like Brave Words (CA), Metal Underground (US), Venja Magazine (CR), Metal Kaoz (GR), Metal Spirit (CH), Headbangers Latinoamerica, Metal Cry (ES), Kronus Mortus (HU), Metalchroniques (FR), Darkside (RU), Metal Glory (DE), Rock Online (BR), Whiplash (BR), Roadie Crew Magazine (BR) and Stay Heavy TV Show (BR).

Right now the band is getting ready to continue on the "Traumatic Scenes Tour 2013/2014".
