Active in Rome since October 2001,
MANTRAM have drawn upon crossover and rock backgrounds since their earliest compositions.
First productions, recorded between 2003 and 2005, define a sound already mature and aggressive. Finally in 2007, a season full of shows and awards within the rock panorama, the band decides to self-produce its first album: SILENT STEPS OUTSIDE.
After some line-up changes, the band, conscious of the strength of the project, goes back to playing regularly and moves towards alternative metal sounds.
In early 2012, the new artistic orientation generates the ep TIME TO RUN.
The band doesn't stop, its inspiration is alive.
The last work appears to be the preface to a new production: GONE, 5 tracks EP, produced by Sliptrick Records, released in March 2014.
The pace undertaken by the band is intense:
two years later, in March 2016, the band releases its second album,
THE BLUE VAULT - LIMITED EDITION, only 100 numbered copies to satisfy the hunger for news of the many fans flocked to the event.
The album, distributed by Goodfellas, sees its official release in May 2017.
